Lisons le Rapport de la Commission de vérité et réconciliation du Canada !
Come participate to the reading marathon of the Rapport de la Commission de vérité et réconciliation du Canada by reading a section *in French*. Some sections still need to be read to complete the project!
This reading marathon aims to reactivate #LireleRapportdelaCVR, an initiative launched in 2016 in collaboration with #ReadTheTRCReport and No Reading After the Internet.
By producing video recordings in French of the remaining sections of the Executive Summary of the Rapport de la Commission de vérité et réconciliation du Canada (TRC Report), the project aims to pay tribute to residential schools survivors, to increase the accessibility of this report and to give it life in order to prevent it from being abandoned on a shelf like so many before it.
Several recording stations amid the exhibition Sovereign Acts II, curated by Wanda Nanibush, will be available to readers. Refreshments will be offered.
This event is organized by the Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery, in collaboration with the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal and UQAM, with the participation of Marly Fontaine, an Innu student in visual arts at UQAM.

Thank you for helping to extend the reach of this important citizens’ initiative!
