CCRH research incorporates a broad range of health psychology topics including the investigation of the impact of stress on immune functioning, pediatric cardiovascular behavioural medicine, the etiology of young adult heavy and problem alcohol use, the problems and processes associated with fear and anxiety disorders, and the relation between individuals and their cultural context and the implications of this relation for psychopathology.

The CCRH consists of an extensive group of members (core, associate and affiliate) who conduct research in the area of clinical health psychology related to physical and mental well-being. Each of the core members will present the latest findings related to their particular area of research.

The conference is held to showcase the research of the core members and to engage both undergraduate and graduate students in presenting posters of the research done in their respective labs.

In the afternoon the students from CCRH labs will hold a poster session during which time posters will be judged and prizes awarded.
