CCRH research incorporates a broad range of health psychology topics including the investigation of the impact of stress on immune functioning, pediatric cardiovascular behavioural medicine, the etiology of young adult heavy and problem alcohol use, the problems and processes associated with fear and anxiety disorders, and the relation between individuals and their cultural context and the implications of this relation for psychopathology.

CCRH holds a series of Seminars throughout the academic year with the goal of exposing students to issues in clinical health research that may be outside of their core area of study.

The speaker for this Seminar is Linda Booij, who recently joined CCRH as a new Core Member. Linda will give a presentation entitled Cognitive and Biological Vulnerability to Depression: Complementary Theories and Convergent Findings.
