Exam period can be stressful. And while there are a lot of ways to cope, is there anything more relaxing than the company of a furry, friendly animal? Several pet therapy dogs from the Blue Ribbon Canine Centre will be on-hand at the Vanier Library to help students de-stress and relax.

All the dogs are vaccinated and will be on four-foot leashes.

The Vanier Library welcomed the pet-therapy dogs last April and similar sessions have been used successfully at McGill University; the University of California, Berkeley; the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; the University of Wisconsin; and Yale University to help reduce anxiety and lift moods.
