PERFORM Talks are offered by Concordia’s PERFORM Centre as an opportunity to discuss current lifestyle topics and research that promotes better health through prevention. The Talks feature a brief presentation; followed by a facilitated activity or discussion around the theme and an optional question & answer period. 

Specific learning objectives for this session:

  1. To review the different terms that denote sugar on food labels
  2. To review recommendations for added sugar consumption
  3. To explore different natural sugars and their recommended uses
  4. To explore your own strategy for consuming added sugar
  5. To introduce 4 healthy ways to enjoy sweets 

Coffee and tea provided. Come ready to savor some chocolate and fruits!

Presentations offered in English by bilingual presenters.
