Introduction and event description
This two-day workshop centers squarely on Canada’s electoral system. The First-Past-The-Post approach to deciding elections has been the subject of much debate in Canada. And there are many who would like to see our electoral system changed. In fact there have been several attempts, at least at the provincial level to do away with this traditional method of deciding elections. But nothing so far has worked.
Does this mean that electoral reform in Canada is next to impossible? And, would it make a difference?
Register for this workshop and come pull up a seat next to one of Canada’s foremost experts on elections and electoral systems, as he outlines what his years of experience have taught him about changing Canada’s electoral system.
