As part of the AIS Conference (Sustainable Israel: A Changing Society in the 21st Century, June 1-3), a plenary discussion will take place on Tuesday, June 2 at 2:00 pm.

Sustainability in Israel

Moderator: Dean André Roy, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science at Concordia University

This Plenary Session will include three presentations made by researchers from the Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies on sustainability strategies in Israel:

Valerie Brachya on Sustainability Outlook for Israel 2030

Center of the Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies and is a lecturer at the Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University and the Herzliya Interdisciplinary College.

Tamar Gavrielli on Urban Sustainability

Director of the Sustainability Research Center of the Jerusalem Institute and a consultant to the Israel Ministry of Interior Planning Administration.

Yael Marom on Servicing

Head of International projects unit at the Jerusalem Institute and the Coordinator of the international project on servicizing funded by the European Commission.
