The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering offers three distinct undergraduate programs, BEng in Mechanical Engineering, BEng in Industrial Engineering and the latest addition, BEng inAerospace Engineering.

The Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering program consists of the Engineering Core, the Mechanical Engineering Core, and one of three areas of specialization (options):

Bachelor of Industrial Engineering

Bachelor of Industrial Engineering

At Concordia University, industrial engineering is integrated with the mechanical engineering department allowing the students to better understand technical processes. It is the only program of its kind offered in English in Quebec. The Bachelor of Industrial Engineering program consists of the Engineering Core, the Industrial Engineering Core, and a selection of elective courses to choose from.

Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering

Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering

Design airplanes. Build helicopters. Test unmanned air vehicles. Aerospace engineers master the mechanisms behind flight and propulsion in the atmosphere and in space. Choose to specialize in one of the following three options:

Aerodynamics and Propulsion
Aerospace Structures and Materials
Avionics and Aerospace Systems
