Biography

Professor Nabil Esmail is a graduate of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russian Federation, BSc. MSc. PhD.  He has been the Dean of Concordia's Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science (1997 - 2008), the founding Chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan (1982 - 1994).  He taught and produced research at the University of Toronto  Department of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry (1972 - 76), and Ain-Shams University of Cairo (1966 - 72) and Cairo's Technical Military College (1965 - 66).  He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, the Engineering Institute of Canada, the Chemical Institute of Canada, and the Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineering.
