The event will begin at 9:00am at Concordia’s Centre for Teaching and Learning (FB 620) and will run until 5:30pm, at which point guests are invited to a lightly catered reception at the 11th floor lounge of the Engineering and Visual Arts building (EV 11.725). Event Highlight:

Lunch and Learn, 1:00 – 2:15pm

During the lunch break Dr. David Pariser, Dr. Lorrie Blair and Dr. Richard Lachapelle will each facilitate round table discussions regarding academic publishing. All three facilitators are full-time faculty members within the Art Education department, each having published extensively on diverse topics within the field. Throughout this luncheon they will offer their experience and expertise, providing guidance and advice for students interested in publishing in academia. Each round table will benefit from a moderator who will take notes throughout the session. The three moderators will present a summary of the discussions at the end of the Symposium. The Lunch and Learn promises to be a productive and informative highlight of the event.
