Mitacs builds partnerships between academia, industry and the world to create a more innovative Canada. Through unique research funding and training programs, Mitacs aims to support the development of the next generation of innovators with vital scientific and business skills.

This workshop presents the innovation challenge that Canada faces, reviews the various research funding programs available for graduate student and postdoctoral fellows, including Mitacs Accelerate, Elevate, Globalink, Step and Converge. It also outlines basic techniques for identifying and reaching out to industry partners.
