After six successful editions, OpenLivingLab Days 2016 will be held in Montreal, Canada from the 23rd to the 26th of August. The event is organised by European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL), hosted by Communautique and Concordia University and sponsored by Tourisme Montreal, France Living Labs and the ACT Project (Ageing + Communication + Technologies).

OpenLivingLab Days is the international annual summit of the Living Lab community, formerly called the ENoLL Summer School. The event has been developed as a platform for learning, collaboration and advancing discussions in relation to citizen and community-driven innovation. Any institution, professional, student or person interested in this subject is invited to join, contribute and benefit from their participation.

The event particularly targets Living Lab practitioners and researchers, change makers, innovation management professionals, policy makers, representatives from local and regional management authorities, private companies and NGOs interested in open and citizen-driven innovation.

The theme of OpenLivingLab Days 2016 is “Citizen Driven Innovation. Developing the innovation system that empowers everyone to innovate.”

The annual 4-day event includes interactive sessions, workshops, lively discussion panels with excursions and off-site visits with the aim of giving the participants a wider insight about models, theories and technologies related to Living Labs. Participants have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience from the leading experts on the subject and to network with other Living Lab enthusiasts.

OpenLivingLab Days attracts over international 200 participants every year.
