Students in the School of Community and Public Affairs at Concordia University are concerned about the future of the energy sector in Canada. Knowing that the continued expansion of Alberta’s oil sands is both unsustainable and detrimental to Canada’s beautiful natural assets, these students ask hard-hitting questions related to the viability of continued development of pipelines throughout the country.

The panel will revolve around questions concerning the current debate on the question of pipeline development in Canada, but also on the importance of developing new and more environmental sources of energy. It's main purpose is to open to the conversation between both the public and experts of the environmental, social, and political sectors about the present and the future state of our environment.
