The CIADI research arm supports University-wide aerospace-related researchers in identifying funding opportunities, structuring research teams and expertise, securing partners and developing associated funding proposals, as well as providing post-award expertise to assist in meeting the financial and reporting requirements of large-scale grants. CIADI R establishes and maintains an Aerospace Research Road Map, which defines strategic areas of research development and identifies gaps in research expertise and infrastructure. CIADI nucleates new multi-disciplinary Research Units from its membership bringing ENCS researchers together with those from Arts and Science and JMSB.
