Email security: blocked zip files
Due to the ongoing circulation of email messages with viruses, all email messages with Zip file attachments are being blocked. This is a temporary measure until a permanent solution that targets these specific attacks can be put in place.
If you were expecting a valid email message containing a Zip file attachment, please make other arrangements with the sender.
If you have already clicked on a Zip file that you were not expecting, contact the Service Desk at ext. 7613 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, as you may have unintentially infected your computer.
Remember: Concordia University will never ask for your personal information by phone, email or URL. Be wary of opening attachments that you are not expecting or that look suspicious.
