Michelle Savard, Concordia Public Scholar and PhD Candidate in Education Studies, will be presenting her research findings at the fourth International Symposium on Teaching about Extremism, Terror, and Trauma. The event takes place July 9th-11th at Concordia University.
Savard will present a paper entitled "Interrupting the Cycle of Violence with Critical Pedagogy to Facilitate the Reintegration of Formerly Abducted Young Mothers in Northern Uganda." She will be part of a discussion on building counter-radicalization communities of interest.
