Celebrating next-gen artists

Concordia MFA student Frédérique Laliberté is one of two recipients of the 2018 Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Fellowships in Contemporary Art

Each year, the Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Fellowship in Contemporary Art is awarded to two emerging artists in Montreal — one from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and one from Concordia.

On May 3, 2018, our community gathered at the Leonard and Bina Ellen Art Gallery to celebrate the 9th annual celebration of fellowship recipients. This year’s winners, Émilie Serri and Frédérique Laliberté, will benefit from the prize generously provided by the Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Family Foundation.

Hear from Émilie Serri and Frédérique Laliberté, as well as from Claudine and Stephen Bronfman, co-chairs of the Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Family Foundation in our featured video.
