Top students shine at Dean's Awards ceremony

On November 30, the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science hosted the Dean’s Awards Ceremony.

Each year the faculty recognizes the outstanding academic achievements of students who made the Dean’s Honour Roll in three tiers: Tier 1 with GPA of at least 4.2, Tier 2 with GPA of at least 4.1, and Tier 3 with GPA of at least 3.75, as well as those who have received awards from members of our community.

Close to 200 students attended the event where they collected their prizes and mingled with one another after the ceremony.

“We’re celebrating the perseverance, dedication and academic excellence of numerous talented students, while also recognizing the contributions of a community of alumni and industrial representatives that help our faculty shine,” said Amir Asif, dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science.
