A desk with a laptop placed on it and opened to a browser window showing the text, "Get your textbooks." The Book Stop is charging a flat fee of $7.50 to deliver to students anywhere in Canada.

Concordia’s Book Stop is encouraging students to take advantage of affordable home delivery.

This fall, print textbooks, eBooks and coursepacks will be available from the university bookstore in collaboration with Concordia’s new partner, Follett Canada.

To minimize the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the campus community, the Book Stop is expanding its online selection and providing a flat shipping rate of $7.50 across the country.

Order online for shipping or in-store pickup

After creating a new Follett user account, students can order online and choose between two options: shipping or web order pickup. Find the course material you need by simply entering your eight-digit student ID number to get the complete list or by selecting the campus, department, course and class section.

Students can have the textbooks and materials shipped to any Canadian residential address as a safe, contact-free alternative to in-store pickup.

Alternatively, students may choose free web order pickup at checkout. Please wait for an email message confirming that your items are ready. The message will also include a list of procedures to follow for the pickup location(s) selected.

Campus access for web order pickup

It’s important to respect the pickup procedures to help manage the flow of individuals and maintain health and safety protocols, including physical distancing. Please note that masks are mandatory in all indoor spaces and that customers must keep a two-metre distance from others at all times.

Web order pickup procedure

Bring a copy of the receipt, along with bags to transport your order. Only students with web orders for pickup will be allowed in the building.

Step one: Once you have placed your order through the new bookstore website and have selected free web order pickup at checkout, watch for the email confirmation. It will provide pickup details.

Step two: When you arrive on campus to pick up your order, call the number in the email and provide the last  five digits of the order number, for example,  295900000*****. Please note that students must wait outside the building while a representative retrieves the order.

Step three: Once a Book Stop staff member has located the order, you will be called back and granted permission to enter the building at the designated pickup area.

Step four: After retrieving your items, please exit the building using the same door. No building access is permitted beyond the Book Stop pickup area.

Pickup locations

For Sir George Williams Campus, use the Mackay Street entrance of the J.W. McConnell (LB) Building. Call 514- 848-3615 when you are outside the building and ready to pick up your order. You will need to provide the order number.
