Over the course of a week in March, COVID-19 lockdowns swept through Montreal. Concordia had to close its two campuses and move all courses online. Students were required to quickly adapt in order to finish their term.

Recently, the university announced that the fall 2020 term will also be delivered remotely — accessible anytime, anywhere in the world.

As Concordia gears up for this new reality, John Molson School of Business student Brontë Viens discusses how the transition to an online learning environment not only produced unexpected learning advantages but also prepared him to work remotely in the business world.

"It permits me to learn at my own rhythm, and use different tools that I feel will help me learn more efficiently," he says. "The transition is a new experience for everyone, but we have the technology and tools to deliver a valuable teaching experience."
