Printing on campus — service interruption

July 26, 2019
|

Concordia’s IT services along with DPrint and Xerox representatives will be implementing a mass replacement of more than 45 new self-serve Xerox multifunction printer/scanner/photocopier devices installed in public areas across campus, which will impact printing services.

The upgraded devices will replace the older models found at self-serve points across the university, including in the libraries. All DPrint self-serve machines on campus will be temporarily unavailable due to these installations from 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7. Furthermore, during this time students will not be able to add funds to their DPrint account at the loaders, online at concordiastores.ca or at Concordia Stores locations.

Other replacements will take place in the different buildings across campus, including the Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integrated Complex (EV), Henry F. Hall (H) Building, Central (CC) Building and John Molson (MB) Building, between Thursday, August 8 and Friday, August 16 at which time printing/copying/scanning functions will be available on a limited basis at the Webster and Vanier libraries.

“We’re looking forward to providing the Concordia community with these new upgraded Xerox devices and eager to offer improvements to the equipment and services related to printing on campus,” says Sabrina Lavoie, executive director of Budgets and Business Development in the Office of the Vice-President, Services.

Students can visit the two convenient Concordia Print Store locations offering a one-stop shop for all their printing needs.
