Due to ongoing construction on St. Catherine’s Street, this year’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will have a new route.

The parade, which is taking place on Sunday March 18, will move east to west along De Maisonneuve Boulevard, ending at the corner of Mackay and René-Lévesque Boulevard.

Due to the parade’s change in route, the J.W. McConnell (LB) parking garage will be closed for the day with no access to cars or bikes. You can also expect other minor disruptions and an increased number of people in and around campus that day.

A planned closure of the tunnel between the GM and LB buildings is also scheduled for Sunday, March 18 between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. for maintenance work. Access between the Hall and LB building will not be affected, nor will access between GM and EV. Regular operating hours will be resorted once the work is complete.

If you see anything you’d like to report, please contact campus security at 514-848-3717 or 514-848-2424 ext. 3717. In case of an emergency, dial “1” for immediate assistance.
