Eight researchers joined the ranks of the esteemed Concordia University Research Chairs (CURC) this summer.

Selected from across all four faculties, the new chair holders are expected to make significant contributions to Concordia’s research in areas of strategic importance.

“The CURC program is designed to deepen the university’s knowledge base, as well as strengthen Concordia’s teaching and training,” says Christophe Guy, vice-president of Research and Graduate Studies.

“The faculty members named as new research chairs exemplify some of the connected and engaged expertise that exists on campus. Their work will help propel Concordia’s expanding reputation as an innovative and dynamic research and knowledge-creation institution.”
