It is with great sadness that the Concordia community has learned of the passing of Michel Nadeau, associate vice-president of Facilities Management at Concordia University.

Nadeau began working at Concordia in June of 2015. Though his tenure was cut short, his impact on the university and its facilities was substantial and very positive, according to Roger Côté, VP Services.

“Michel was an exemplary colleague, appreciated by all. I feel very lucky to have worked alongside of him,” says Côté.

“Michel was a good person who cared for others and was committed to supporting the success of the members of the university community. He will be missed.”

Nadeau was in the midst of ambitious work to further improve facilities management at Concordia.

Memorial services are being planned to remember Nadeau. Details will be communicated to the Concordia community as soon as they become available.
