Dear Concordians,

Our two beautiful campuses are once again full of life as we welcome the 2017-18 academic year.

I hope you’ve had a great summer and are excited about the year ahead.

Concordians are always on the move. Among many highlights this past academic year, Concordia students:

The buzz about Concordia continues.

Many of our Strategic Directions initiatives are well under way.

We’re further investing in our students’ success

We’re helping amplify expertise and build careers through our Public Scholars Program.

And opportunities for hands-on research abound – our participation in the Solar Decathlon is just one great example.

Last year was also our strongest year ever for research funding, enrolment and philanthropic commitments to Concordia. We hope to carry that momentum into autumn as we launch Concordia’s biggest advancement campaign ever.

One of many opportunities to be a part of that is Shuffle 28 on September 15. As Concordians, we’re all part of something big. We would love to see you at the Shuffle.

Thank you for Taking Pride in your university.

Regards,

Alan Shepard
President
