Concordia is pleased to announce that the Board of Governors has approved an agreement-in-principle reached between the university and the Concordia University Library Employees’ Union (CULEU) on the terms for the renewal of the collective agreement.

Roger Côté, vice-president of Services, expressed his appreciation for the effort and dedication of the parties involved in the negotiations. “It is an important achievement and we are pleased that we were able to come to an agreement that meets the interests of both parties.”

Kent Cluff, president of CULEU, expressed satisfaction that an agreement was reached.

“The next round of negotiations will begin soon and we’re looking forward to building on the successes of this round,” he said.

Following the signing of the collective agreement by the two parties, the documents will be posted on Concordia’s website in English and French.
