1. Yoga in the park

Enchanted Forest | Mural Festival | Parc du Portugal | June 8 to 18 starting at 10 a.m.

Zen out this month by taking advantage of free outdoor yoga classes held on the Main. That’s right, certified yogis will be on hand at Parc de Portugal to help you limber up. Make sure to check out all the activities being held as part of the Forêt Enchantée at Festival Mural.

2. Ingest some POPaganda

Ron English’s pop-up shop | Mural Festival | Studio Bliss | June 8 to 17 starting at 10 a.m.

Pop artist Ron English made a name for himself by mixing super heroes and comic strips with art history iconography. Don’t miss your chance to check out his pop-up shop, which will feature some rare finds as well as specialized merchandise.

3. Join the circus

La Grande Tournée | 375e anniversaire de Montreal | Parc Beaudet | June 16 at 3 p.m.,  June 17 and 18 at 9:30 a.m.

Cirque Éloize will be travelling from one end of the city to the other this summer in order to celebrate each of Montreal’s 19 boroughs. Head to Parc Beaudet for a one-of-a-kind spectacle that aims to show off the distinct character and spirit of Saint-Laurent.

4. Party at the bike parade!

Garage sales galore and a large parade of 375 "allegorical bicycles" — what more could you want? My Bike Talks is an open invitation to celebrate the historic richness and diversity of Montreal North in a unique fashion.

5. Family fun ... with food trucks

For one weekend this month, Parc Ahuntsic will come alive. As part of Montreal's 375th anniversary celebrations, the Friends of Ahuntsic have organized a jam-packed schedule of events: circus shows, craft workshops, an outdoor parade, live music, games and traditional dance performances. Plus, you can enjoy free popcorn and fine local cuisine from an assortment of food trucks. A perfect day out!
