Summer hours 2017

From June 9 to August 11, the university observes a summer schedule during which many offices close at 1 p.m. on Fridays.

As June 24 and July 1 fall on Saturdays this year, the holidays are the preceding Fridays. The summer hours for those weeks will take place on Thursday, June 22 and Thursday, June 29.

During the summer schedule, the work week is reduced by three hours without any reduction in salary.

Essential units

Managers of essential units that cannot close early are encouraged to make arrangements with their employees for equivalent time away from work — keeping policies, contractual agreements and operational requirements in mind.

Such departments include the Security Department and Accounting and Restricted Funds.

The Webster and Vanier libraries will be open for study only during summer hours.
