Easter weekend: what’s open, what’s closed

APRIL 14-17: Find out which services will be available at Concordia

No classes or other instructional activities will occur during the Easter break, which includes Friday, April 14, and Monday, April 17.

Only staff, faculty and graduate students with appropriate Concordia-issued identification will have access to offices, studios and laboratories. Undergraduate students who need access will require a letter from their department.



Closures

  • Concordia retail stores
  • Health Services
  • Counseling and Psychological Services
  • Access Centre for Students with Disabilities
  • Shuttle buses  


Other relevant information


Athletic facilities

  • Le Centre (Loyola Campus) will be closed on Friday, April 14, to Sunday, April 16, only. Regular services will be available on Monday, April 17. 
  • Le Gym (Sir George Williams Campus) will be closed on Friday, April 14, and Monday, April 17, only. Regular services will be available over the weekend. 
  • The Ed Meagher Arena (Loyola Campus) will be closed from Friday, April 14, to Monday, April 17, including the weekend.

 


Libraries

  • The R. Howard Webster and Georges P. Vanier libraries will be open for study only.
  • The Grey Nuns Reading Room will be open as follows:
    • Friday, April 14, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Sunday, April 16, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Monday April 17, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.


Food and beverage services

The Grey Nuns Dining Hall and the Buzz Dining Hall will remain open for their regular business hours. All other Food Services locations will be closed.


Parking

  • Parking in the J.W. McConnell Building will be closed on Sunday only.
  • Loyola parking will be open.
  • Faubourg parking will be open.


Tunnel access

Tunnels on the Sir George Williams Campus will be closed from 11 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, to 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18.
