March 23, 2017

By S. Baker

Starting March 27, Bishop Street will be closed to vehicles for approximately 8 weeks between De Maisonneuve Boulevard and Sherbrooke Street. If you are on foot, you will still be able to access the area and the Bishop Street entrances to the Henry F. Hall building will remain open.

The renovations will bring this area in line with the rest of Quartier Concordia and relate to the development of the Zone Éducation-Culture. Changes include the enlargement of sidewalks, the addition of benches and trees, a drop-off area for cars, as well as new light fixtures and a new membrane for the Hall building foundation wall on Bishop.

Please note, access to the Hall building loading dock will be restricted for three weeks as of March 27.
