Le Gala des arts visuels is jointly organized by the Contemporary Art Galleries Association, the Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels du Québec and the Regroupement des centres d’artistes autogérés du Québec. It honours outstanding work by Quebec artists.

Located in Concordia’s J.W. McConnell Building (LB), the Leonard and Bina Ellen Art Gallery focuses on the presentation and critical investigation of Canadian and international art, with an emphasis on contemporary work.

Through exhibitions, events, public discussions and publications, its program responds to the communities, issues, tensions, projections and changes that constitute the society we live in.
