Spring is finally here, and the sugar shack is back at Concordia!

On Monday, March 31, and Thursday, April 3, forget about the stale bologna sandwich sitting on your desk. Instead, join your colleagues for traditional French-Canadian pea soup, omelettes, tourtière, pouding chômeur (think moist, fluffy cake topped with hot maple syrup), sugar pie and more, all while you enjoy the sounds of live folk music.

The cost? Only $10, taxes included. Need we say more?

The sugar shack — which will take place thanks to Hospitality Concordia and Chartwells — is open to the entire Concordia community. Details are below.

When: Monday, March 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Atrium of the Engineering, Computer Science and Fine Arts Integrated Complex (EV Building, 1515 Ste-Catherine St. W.) on the Sir George Williams Campus
Cost: $10 per person (taxes included) for a special sugar shack menu

When: Thursday, April 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Loyola Jesuit Hall and Conference Centre (RF Building, 7141 Sherbrooke St. W.)
Cost: $10 per person (taxes included) for a special sugar shack menu

Cash payment will be collected at the event, unless you are paying with a department budget code, in which case, your payment can be made online. Reserve today for individual or group seatings, as well as takeout meals.

We look forward to seeing you!
