FIFA will screen a wide range of films from March 20 to 30. The J.A. DeSève Cinema will host two showings of Beat Generation — Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg & William Burroughs, a look at the deep friendship between the notable beat generation writers.

The 32nd annual International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) is coming to Concordia.

For the fifth consecutive year, the university is partnering with FIFA to showcase an array of films about art. From March 20 to 30, the fest will screen some 266 movies from more than 36 countries at venues throughout Montreal, including Concordia’s J.A. DeSève Cinema.

Before the fest gets under way, on March 15, Concordia will present the North American premiere of Beat Generation — Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg & William Burroughs, French directors Xavier Villetard and Jean-Jacques Lebel’s documentary on the three seminal writers.

FIFA, as always, has plenty in store. Here’s what’s screening at Concordia over the course of the festival.
