For the past three years, Hospitality Concordia, with the help of volunteers from Impressions Catering, Facilities Management and the Office of the Registrar, has been sponsoring a spaghetti luncheon to benefit research into multiple sclerosis.

This year's event, held May 3 on the seventh floor of the Henry F. Hall Building, raised $2,450 that will go directly to MS Society of Canada for research.

Of the final tally, $150 came from the proceeds of the March 1 clearance sale held by Campus Retail Stores, which also donated an iPad2 as a door prize. “We are pleased to contribute to this worthy cause and take part in an event that is important to the Concordia community," said Daniel Houde, director of Campus Retail Stores.

Organizers offer special thanks to the trio of musicians from Repentigny who donated their time and skills to the MS luncheon. They are Jessie Bertrand on drums, Jeremie Vallee on base/guitar, and Alex Desjardins on trombone.
