Peer assessment helps land a dream job

New certificate measures the previously unmeasurable

Students in Concordia’s John Molson School of Business (JMSB) can now prove team-working abilities to prospective employers with a Peer Assessment Certificate, thanks to Career Management Services.

Until now, there was no way for employers to identify candidates who have strong skills working in groups and as a team. Through the online Peer Assessment Program, JMSB students can learn about teamwork skills and receive performance feedback from peers. Once the program is completed, students then request the Peer Assessment Certificate, which supports claims of having strong team-player skills.

To learn more about the program and certificate, consult Career Management Services or read more about it in the Concordia Journal on November 8.
