Elections in Hungary

With Viktor Orban’s third consecutive victory, it is clear that his Fidesz party’s Eurosceptic and anti-immigration message continues to appeal to Hungarians. But election observers say his victory was assisted by opaque campaign finance laws, media bias and xenophobic rhetoric.
