Students

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • Concordia art history student Adrienne Huard writes a piece in Canadian Art, where she offers an Indigenous woman's view of the National Gallery of Canada.
  • Concordia student and competitive wrestler Jade Dufour is profiled on CKLW (Windsor AM 800).
  • Nord Info profiles Concordia student Shany Bolte (JMSB) as she vies for the title of Miss Universe Canada. Bolte is one of 67 contestants at the pageant opening tomorrow in Toronto.
  • Radio-CanadaTVA Sports and Le Soleil report on a statement by Stingers football quarterback Trenton Miller about hits to the head. Miller made the statement in a video posted to his Facebook account following last weekend's Stingers game at Université Laval, where he was involved in a head-to-head collision with an opposing player. Miller, who had to leave the game after the hit, pleads for university football coaches and officials to directly address the danger of hits to the head. In a separate report, TVA Sports confirms that the Stingers have filed formal complaints with the Réseau de sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) over the hit on Miller and one on Stingers player James Tyrell during the same game in Quebec City.
  • The Victoria Times Colonist announces the Concordia Stingers' participation in an exhibition basketball tournament this weekend at the University of Victoria.REPLACE THIS TEXT
