Students

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • Concordia student Ali-Reza Chattoo (Department of Exercise Science, kinesiology) is featured in an article in The Suburban about the Personal Finance Boss podcast he launched with McGill finance student Julien Sirard.
  • TVA Sports posts an opinion piece about hits to the head in university football and refers specifically to a late-game hit on Concordia football player James Tyrell during last weekend's game between the Stingers and the Université Laval Rouge et Or. The author of the piece believes the hit on Tyrell should have resulted in a penalty or the expulsion of the opposing player and calls on football officials to be tougher in such cases.
  • The CFL and Net News Ledger announce that Concordia's football squad has broken into the top ten in the U SPORTS football national rankings: the Stingers, previously unranked, are now in the eighth position in the weekly polling.
