Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:  

  • The Montreal Gazette writes about the arrival in Montreal from Nepal of 20-year old Nima Nuru Sherpa, who has come to Concordia to study computer engineering. The paper says the new international student came here with the help of Montrealer Bernard Voyer, who met Nima's family during expeditions to climb Mount Everest.
  • L'Avantage Gaspésien reports on last weekend's Stingers men's hockey team trip to Matane, where it split a pair of preseason games against the Aigles Bleus of Université de Moncton.
  • La Tribune looks ahead to Saturday's football game at Concordia between the Stingers and the Université de Sherbrooke Vert et Or. 
  • Le Soleil writes that Concordia Stingers football head coach Mickey Donovan is requesting an emergency meeting with RSEQ football referees and coaches to discuss hits to the head.
