Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:  

  • Cartoon Brew reports that Concordia students Lukas Conway, Stefan Jaroszonek and Olivier Sommelet have won the Canadian Student Animation Film at the Ottawa International Animation Festival, with an honourable mention awarded to another Concordia student, Marie-Josée Doutre.
  • Journal Métro writes that Concordia student Sarah Morgan has received a 'Grand Monterois' award from Town of Mount Royal for her work with special needs children at the Friendship Circle of Montreal. The publication notes that Morgan received a prize from Quebec's lieutenant-General in 2014 for her community engagement.

  • Acadie Nouvelle reports that the Stingers men's hockey team travelled to Matane over the weekend and split a pair of preseason games against the Aigles Bleus of Université de Moncton.
