Protecting transgender rights

Kimberley Manning, principal of the Simone de Beauvoir Institute and professor of political science in the Faculty of Arts and Science, appears in media coverage of yesterday's hearings of the Senate committee on legal and Constitutional Affairs as it studies Bill C-16 — the Transgender Rights Bill. Manning appeared before the committee alongside other parents of transgender children to plead for passage of the proposed legislation.
