Regulating Crypto Currencies & Bitcoin

Jeremy Clark is an Assistant Professor at the Concordia Institute for Information Systems Engineering. His research is focused on helping everyday users maintain their security and privacy on the web. This includes the use and regulation of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. 

With the recent surge in Bitcoin’s value, The Canadian Government is rethinking current regulations to limit criminal activity associated with use of cryptocurrencies. In a segment heard across CBC Radio One stations in Canada, Jeremy Clark shared his thoughts on how regulations could benefit the public at large. The segment was heard on stations in Halifax, Sydney, New Brunswick, Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Sudbury, Kitchener-Waterloo, Thunder Bay, London, Windsor, Regina, Calgary, Kelowna, Prince George, Vancouver, Victoria, White Horse, Yellowknife and Iqaluit.
