  • La Presse reports that visual artist Jana Sterbak (BFA 77) has won the Paul-Émile Borduas prize, awarded by the Government of Quebec as part of the Prix du Québec for visual art, architecture and design. 
  • Le Devoir features Philip Barrar (BComm 12, management), founder of Montreal-based Mylo Financial Technologies. The online version of the article includes a video clip of Barrar talking about the launch of his start-up in 2015.
  • Franchising.com announces the launch of franchising operations in the U.S. by Montreal-based Spray-Net Inc. —  a home exterior painting company founded by Concordia alumnus, Carmelo Marsala (BA, finance).
  • The Montreal Gazette features Carolyn Marie Souaid (MA, creative writing), following the launch of Souaid's first novel, Yasmeen Hadda Loves Joanasi Maqaittik.
