Méritic awards. Move over for MOOCs.

Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:

• Le Soleil announces that two Concordians have been awarded a Méritic prize for their work in the area of information technologies: Anne-Marie Croteau, dean of the John Molson School of Busines, receives the Prix Carrière and Marc Denoncourt, associate v-p, Information systems, and chief information officer at Concordia, the Méritic prize for senior IT management. 
• The Globe and Mail quotes Saul Carliner, professor in and interim chair of the Department of Education in the Faculty of Arts and Science, in an article about adult digital learning and the growing popularity of MOOCs (massive open online courses).
