Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:  

  • Several media pick up news of the cancellation of this evening's Stingers football game against the Université de Montreal Carabins in the wake of a gastroenteritis outbreak in the Carabins dressing room. The game, which was to be played at the Université de Montréal CEPSUM, will not be re-scheduled: Le Journal de MontréalLa Presse,CTVnews.caRadio-Canada.ca (reprised by MSN sports), TVAsports.ca98,5FM.ca.
  • The Suburban writes that Concordia history and philosophy student Salman Farah will run for a Montreal city council seat in the Côte-de-Liesse district in November's municipal elections.
  • Hockey Buzz writes that Carl Neill, a fifth-round pick of the NHL's Vancouver Canucks in 2015, has gone back to school, at Concordia, and is playing with the Stingers this year.
  • The Western University Gazette reports that there are efforts underway to open a Concordia chapter of the group, Students in Support of Free Speech.
