Trenton Miller

Bringing an awareness to concussions
Posted on October 4, 2017

Radio-Canada, TVA Sports and Le Soleil report on a statement by Stingers football quarterback Trenton Miller about hits to the head. Miller made the statement in a video posted to his Facebook account following last weekend's Stingers game at Université Laval, where he was involved in a head-to-head collision with an opposing player. Miller, who had to leave the game after the hit, pleads for university football coaches and officials to directly address the danger of hits to the head.

The Montreal GazetteCBC (text) and CJAD also reported on the story.

Global News Montreal aired a report on Miller's efforts to get people talking about hits to the head and player safety; TVA Sports posted video of an interview with him and a text story about recovering from the hit in the Quebec City game; CBC Daybreak aired an interview with Miller (no link available).
