  • There is extensive coverage of a research breakthrough in nanoelectronics at Concordia. PhD student Andrew McRae (MSc 13) and Alexandre Champagne, associate professor of physics, chair of the Department of Physics and the Concordia University Research Chair in Nanoelectronics and Quantum Materials in the Faculty of Arts and Science, have co-authored a study that examined electron behaviour within nanoelectronics and suggests new engineering possibilities to improve smart devices. Concordia alumni, James M. Porter (MSc 15, BSc 11) and Vahid Tayari (PhD 14) also collaborated on the study, published in the journal, Nature Communications: Science Daily (linked by Technology NewsFoster Gem and Parallel State), Phys.Org (linked by Phys News), ECN MagNano MagazineNano WerkHi Tech Daysi-Connect 007News LockerWire ServiceAMEQ en ligne(behind a paywall), Canada JournalDeath Rattle SportsPublic Now.
