Facebook's 11th anniversary
Saturday, February 4 is the 11th anniversary of Facebook. Canada readily adopted Facebook when it arrived and 46% of Canadians use Facebook for their news. However, with fake news on the rise is Facebook a reliable place to get news? Fenwick McKelvey, assistant professor in the Department of Communication Studies in the Faculty of Arts and Science, can weigh in on the subject.
