Trump signs order to approve Keystone pipeline

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday, January 24 to rapidly approve construction of the Keystone XL pipeline from the Alberta oilsands to Nebraska. The order is a setback for environmentalists who believed they had successfully stopped the process. Peter Stoett, director of the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre and professor in the Department of Political Science in the Faculty of Arts and Science, can weigh in on what this executive order means for environmental concerns.
