Fighting sexual assault on university campuses

A new report called Violences sexuelles en milieu universitaire au Québec was released on Monday, January 16. According to La Presse, the study is the first to draw a portrait of sexual assault on university campuses in Quebec based on more than 9000 respondents from six universities. The report found that more than one-third of people working or studying at university have experienced at least one form of sexual violence. Jennifer Drummond, coordinator of the Sexual Assault Resource Centre, can talk about issues facing universities when it comes to fighting sexual assault on campus.
